Exploring Downtown L.A.

Have you every really been to Downtown L.A.? Over the years it has gotten it's share of the negative stereotypes, but there are some really AWESOME things to see down there. We have explored the area by foot and were amazed at all the hidden treasures. Having found all those great things, we want to share them with you!

Austin has put together a great podcast that you listen to on our walking tour of Downtown L.A. As you stroll through the streets of Downtown L.A., you'll hear the history of what you are seeing along with some fantastic music. It is definitely a tour of Downtown L.A. like you have never been on before.

The next scheduled tour is on Saturday, April 3, 2010. My sisters are going to be in town too! I am so EXCITED!! We will meet at the back of Union Station at 11:00 AM. However, we (Austin, my sisters, and I) will be riding the Metro (L.A.'s subway) at the Universal City Station around 10:15 AM to Union Station. If you would like to join us for this tour, please post a comment or reply to the event on the left side bar. Let us know where you are going to meet us and we'll give you more specific information as it fits to you. Invite whom you like, but make sure they post a comment or reply to the event as well.

What you will need for the tour:
  • $7/person for Austin's awesome podcast and tour guide duties (ask him all the hard questions :0)
  • IPod, IPhone, Itouch, or any MP3 player. If you don't have one let us know. We have a few extras.
  • Good walking shoes. We'll be out and about for approximately 3-4 hours.
  • A little cash for lunch and the subway.
  • Camera...don't forget this!
As the time nears we'll give you any additional information that you might need. We look forward to sharing some of the things we enjoy with you.
